Zara Day is an artisan designer who creates luxurious decorative embroidered fabrics for interior designers, architects and designers. Focusing on the interesting placement of images on fabrics, her designs challenge repeated prints to create designs specifically for the shape of each product, her exacting standards produce exquisite results and a truly unique fabric.

She combines hand embroidery with free machine and digital embroidery techniques fusing contemporary and traditional techniques. The dialogue between different stitched techniques is born out of an expertise that only comes from an artisanal approach, which means mass production is not an option. Working with skilled craftsmen to apply her fabric to a finished piece attention to detail is paid to every aspect of its production, forming a distinctive piece of furniture.

Through Rosemaryrose she provides a design service where she specialises in creating bespoke designs to complement an existing or proposed design scheme exclusively for each client.
